MOON ARTS ARK

In a team of 8 students, I worked with my professors Mark Baskinger and Matt Zywica on a space rover as part of Carnegie Mellon's Robotic Institute's Moon project, competing for the Google Lunar Xprize. Each of us created a piece of a composition on a disk, each containing animals from a different biosphere on earth. The end result was printed onto a sapphire disk illustrating earth's beautiful biodiversity.

I contributed drawings of animals from the Rainforest biosphere, working to integrate my own style with those of my teammates. Yet our own styles stood distinctly among the whole composition with all the biomes. For my own composition, I worked on iterating drawings, stylization, and creating visual hierarchy.
